A mega-merger between four of Dublin’s biggest credit unions is being planned as the pace of consolidation among the member-owned organisations steps up.

Rialto Credit Union, Walkinstown Credit Union and Meath Street Credit Union are in talks to merge with Rathfarnham Credit Union, creating the biggest in the capital.
