Forty more developments hit by fire safety issues

Forty residential developments had serious fire safety issues that required remedial repair work costing taxpayers up to €30 million per development, a parliamentary question asked by Labour deputy Tommy Broughan has revealed.

The news comes after residents of the Longboat Quay development in Dublin were told to come up with €4 million to tackle fire safety issues.
