An erstwhile boss of Ticketmaster has said that ticket reselling is far less of a problem than the controversy around it suggests. Tommy Higgins, who was managing director of Ticketmaster Ireland & UK and vice-president of Ticketmaster Europe from 2004, described the furore around reselling as “a social media conspiracy theory”.
