Eddie Sheehy exercised ‘malice’ when issuing a press release four years ago over a compulsory purchase order for land in Co Wicklow, the High Court has found

The High Court has ruled that Eddie Sheehy, the former chief executive of Wicklow County Council, exercised a “degree of malice or an improper purpose” when he issued a press release in April 2013 which defamed two elected members of the local authority.
