Former CSO head’s police escort from Greek court

The former head of the Central Statistics Office (CSO) had to be given a police escort out of a court in Greece after testifying on behalf of a fellow statistician.

Gerry O’Hanlon was recently giving evidence to back up the former head of the Greek statistical service Andreas Georgiou, who had been accused of neglecting his duties during the Greek debt crisis.
