Brexit fears bring EU drama students to Dublin

EU drama students are choosing Dublin over London because of uncertainty over their status in Brexit Britain, according to the head of Ireland’s first national academy for performing arts.

Loughlin Deegan, director of the Lir Academy in Dublin, said students seeking to train in an English-language environment were turning away from leading courses in London due to the EU referendum outcome.
