Flutter rival Draftkings pulls out of Ireland just two years after launch

The Boston-based company, which is one of the Paddy Power-owner’s main competitors in the United States, has given Irish customers five days to withdraw funds

Draftkings, the gambling giant which is one of Paddy Power-owner Flutter Entertainment’s main US rivals, has exited the Irish market just two years after launching its services here.

The €6 billion-valued company did not make any formal announcement about the decision but customers were emailed to tell them that they had until Sunday to withdraw funds or they would remitted to the Malta Gaming Authority, which is Draftking’s regulator.
