Firms scramble for EORI trading numbers as Brexit deadline looms

The number of Irish firms registering for EORI numbers jumped by 600 per cent in August, according to the Revenue Commissioners’ latest figures. An EORI number is necessary for any Irish business trading with a country outside the European Union.
