Michael Fingleton is facing a legal bill of up to €500,000 after losing his High Court action to halt a Central Bank inquiry into alleged regulatory breaches at Irish Nationwide.
The former Irish Nationwide boss claimed in the proceedings that he has had to lean on family members to discharge recent legal bills because his “financial position is by no means strong”.
