Faulty blocks scheme ‘inflexible, cynical, illogical and blinkered’, mica campaigners claim

Donegal mica homeowners today accused the Department of Housing of attempting to “exercise coercive control” over campaigners during negotiations on the state’s enhanced defective blocks scheme.

The Oireachtas housing committee holding about six hours of hearings with homeowners, government officials and experts as part of a partial process of scrutiny of a new bill on the issue.
