A farmer has won a Supreme Court appeal stopping the Industrial Development Authority from acquiring his lands beside Carton House and Intel in Co Kildare.
Mr Justice Liam McKechnie, in a decision unanimously backed by the five judge court, ruled that the IDA had acted beyond its powers in making a compulsory purchase order for the lands.
