The Leinster and Ireland rugby player set up Henshaw Eyewear in 2017 but subsequently sold his stake in the company
An eyewear firm founded by Robbie Henshaw, the Leinster and Ireland rugby player, has ceased trading and applied to be struck off the national register of companies.
Henshaw Eyewear applied for a voluntary strike-off in December, documents filed with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) show.
It was incorporated in 2017 and was the first business venture for Henshaw, an Athlone native who owns Robton Limited, an advertising and promotions company, with his father Tony.
