Euro zone inflation unchanged at 0.1% in November

The low inflation rate reinforces the ECB case for stepping up stimulus at tomorrow's meeting

Inflation across the euro zone was unexpectedly unchanged in November, giving fuel to Mario Draghi’s campaign to step up stimulus.

Inflation in the 19-nation region remained at 0.1 per cent, the European Union’s statistics office in Luxembourg. Economists had predicted the rate would rise to 0.2 per cent.
