The European Ombudsman’s office has publisheda letter sent to the president of the European Central Bank asking a number of questions about the ECB’s involvement in the Group of 30 (G30) organisation.

The G30, which holds discussions on international economic and financial issues, describes itself as “a private, non-profit, international body composed of very senior representatives of the private and public sectors and academia”.
