Eir revenue grows for first time in eight years
Company says bond refinancing has lowered its debt costs
Telecoms group Eir has reported an increase in annual revenue for the first time in eight years.
The company said revenue for the year to the end of June was €1.3 billion, up 4 per cent on the previous 12 months.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were up 5 per cent to €505m, though this figure excluded costs related to storm damage. Eir said operating costs were "broadly flat".
