They are the two most powerful rugby teams in Ireland and they are now engagedin a resource battle over players. As Leinster prepare for this weekend’s Champions Cup final, Barry J Whyte took the opportunity to look at the power struggle between the province and the national team over players. Leinster believe they should not have to subsidise other provinces by forcing players to move, while the national set-up believes it is in the best interests of the national outfit.
