Dublin start-up Marker Content aiming to raise €2 million by year’s end

‘Shutterstock for writers’ service has had 70,000 clients since launching last April

Marker Content, a Dublin-based start-up, is aiming to close a €2 million funding round this year. The company, which provides stock written content for businesses to repurpose for their own use, has completed a €250,000 bridge funding round as part of its plans.

Greta Dunne, founder and chief executive of Marker Content, said it aimed to be the written version of Shutterstock, the successful picture service which provides stock images.
