Dublin 2 hostel to open by October

A new homeless hostel on Fitzwilliam Street in Dublin’s leafy office quarter is expected to open its doors by October this year, after work on the building started earlier this month.

The new hostel, which was held up over a High Court battle until January this year, will house 30 bed spaces and will replace the existing Dublin Simon Community emergency accommodation located on Harcourt Street.
