Former Anglo Irish Bank chief executive David Drumm has been labelled a "clear flight risk" by the US Attorney's office in advance of his bail hearing in Boston today.

The US Attorney said Drumm "cannot be trusted", according to RTE.

Assistant US Attorney Amy Harman Burkart asked the court not to release Drumm on bail pending a full extradition hearing in paperwork filed to the Massachusetts District Court.
