Drinks giant Bacardi aiming to buy controlling stake in Teeling

Bacardi, the multibillion-dollar rum and spirits giant, is aiming to buy a controlling stake in Irish whiskey company Teeling, the Business Post understands.

Negotiations between both parties are understood to be ongoing, according to senior sources in the whiskey industry. Both Teeling Whiskey and Bacardi declined to comment when contacted by the Business Post.
