Double-digit executive pay boost ruffles feathers at Flutter’s agm

Almost a third of shareholders voted against a motion to raise pay for senior figures after disappointing full-year results and a share price tumble

Paddy Power-owner Flutter faces having to ease significant shareholder concern over double-digit percentage pay hikes which were last week approved for two of the company’s most senior executives.

Peter Jackson, the chief executive at Flutter, and Jonathan Hill, the company’s chief financial officer, are set for pay hikes of 26 per cent and 20 per cent, respectively, after their new remuneration packages were approved by the board.
