Donohoe to tackle corporation tax surge concerns
For the first 11 months of the year, corporation tax receipts were almost €9.5 billion, 20 per cent or more than €1.5 billion above target
Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe has said corporation tax receipts will be even stronger than expected this year after another surge in November.
Exchequer returns for the first 11 months of 2018 show that €2.7 billion in corporation tax was taken in during November, which is one of the most important months for tax collection. This was 21 per cent or €470m more than expected.
