Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed is to allow Donegal fishermen to get almost €10 million worth of extra fishing quota instead of transferring it to fishermen in Cork.

There had been growing tensions in the fishing industry over the review into who would get an extra EU quota to catch mackerel.
