One of the many incongruities of the 2016 presidential campaign is the self-promoting fusion of the business and political interests of Donald Trump. The Republican candidate is a veritable Russian doll of self-promotion. Every event, every pronouncement contains a plug for a lesser series of Trump products, events, deals, books or pronouncements that bear the Trump imprimatur.
