Dixon buys Carna giving it over €70 million in annual turnover

This is Dixon’s first acquisition since Erisbeg, an Irish growth capital investor, invested in the company last December. Carna will continue to operate independently from its locations in Monaghan and Armagh

Dixon International Logistics, the transport business, has agreed to buy Monaghan-based Carna Transport for an undisclosed sum.

The deal brings Dixon to over €70 million in annual turnover, a fleet of more than 300 trucks and 500 trailers and over 400 staff across four offices in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Britain. Dixon’s turnover for its most recent financial year was €43.5 million.
