Developers in Ireland may repurpose commercial buildings and offices as homes to speed up the delivery of housing, according to CBRE, the commercial real estate services and investment firm.

CBRE said that the repurposing of commercial properties has become a significant feature in other markets and could become more prevalent in Ireland as the country is “massively under-supplied across all housing tenures.”
