The Department of Employment Affairs is investigating a complaint by a Ryanair pilot about alleged bogus self-employment at the airline.

Just 34 per cent of Ryanair pilots are on permanent contracts, with the rest either self-employed or sub-contracted from another company or a temporary work agency.
