Kelly Martin and Sean Murphy, two of the founders of Malin Corporation, the Irish life sciences company, have filed defamation proceedings against the company in the High Court.

Martin and Murphy, who are former executives of Malin themselves, have filed a suit against Malin, its chairman Liam Daniel, and its chief executive Darragh Lyons.

Malin declined to comment on the case prior to publication, and neither Martin nor Murphy could be reached for comment, but the Business Post understands the case relates to comments made in a stock exchange announcement on October 8, 2021, and an interview on radio station Newstalk in June 2021.
