Last week Declan Ganley announced a major coup: he had just appointed Mike Pompeo, former head of the CIA and former US secretary of state, as a member of the board of his company, Rivada Networks.
Pompeo’s role will be to advise Rivada on strategic issues as the company grows and expands into new markets.
