Air quality monitoring stations to be installed at ‘urban traffic’ sites in Dublin after EPA report

A new permanent air quality monitoring station is to be installed at Amiens Street in Dublin’s north inner city, following a report in July that showed nitrogen dioxide (NO2) levels exceeding dangerous limits set by Europe.

Temporary modelling equipment from the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) showed dangerous levels of NO2 pollution in certain city centre locations.
