Minister of State Jim Daly was rebuked by the Taoiseach’s office over interviews he gave last week prior to the launch of a government report on housing the elderly.

Daly sparked anger in the departments of the Taoiseach and Housing after an interview he gave last Monday morning with RTÉ’s Today with Seán O’Rourke in which he suggested that older people would be given financial incentives if they wished to downsize their home.
