DAA drops planning objection to housing development near airport

The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has mysteriously withdrawn an appeal against a housing project due to be built on the doorstep of the airport.

The airport operator filed an objection against a plan to build 30 houses and six apartments in close proximity to its new runway in January. The residential units would be located just over 1km from Dublin airport.
