Dublin TDs have claimed that the National Transport Authority’s (NTA) plans to buy up roads, footpaths and front gardens as part of the BusConnects project will have a “profound impact” on local residents and businesses.

The Business Post reported that the NTA is pressing ahead with the plans to widen bus lanes between Dublin Airport and Dorset Street in the north inner city.
