A lawsuit against Galway businessman Declan Ganley and his Rivada Networks company taken by Mexico’s communications regulator has been dismissed by a federal court there.

The case emerged after Rivada lost out on a $7 billion public tender to build a mobile network for Mexico.

Rivada felt it was unfairly excluded from the process, and is suing the Mexican state over a decision to disqualify it.
