A proposed stretch of road across a rejected plan for a €75 million residential development in South Dublin has been described as a “ransom strip” in Commercial Court proceedings.

Cork developer Michael O’Flynn is appealing against Dun Laoghaire Rathdown’s refusal last July to grant planning permission for 164 housing units at Beech Park in Cabinteely.
