Councillors voted in favour of selling 33-37 Dolphin’s Barn Street, on the corner of South Circular Road, to Malkey Ltd, a company connected with Hollybrook Homes, for €405,000 in March 2015

Public city centre land sold to a developer on the strict condition that it be built on quickly remains a dilapidated vacant lot more than three years later.

Dublin City Council has made legal moves to take back the site, in a thriving part of Dublin 8, after the developer failed to build the 12 apartments and restaurant space it committed to.
