Dublin City Council last week called off plans to seize the historic Iveagh Markets in the capital after 11th-hour talks were proposed with the current occupier of the site, Martin Keane.
The council had planned to change the locks at the Victorian market last Thursday, but delayed after receiving correspondence from Keane’s lawyers.
