The owner of the site, Pembroke Partnership Limited, has revealed new plans to demolish the majority of the buildings – located behind Donnybrook Garda station – and construct 44 new apartments
The owner of Donnybrook’s former Magdalene laundry has reignited controversial plans to demolish most of the site.
A report from Dublin city’s archaeologist in 2017, which claimed there was “potential for burials being uncovered” at the site, led to a previous plan to level the old laundry buildings being scrapped.
