Construction of new homes up 10% in first half of the year

Building started on more than 1,900 homes in the greater Dublin area

Developers started construction on more than 15,000 homes in the first half of the year, new data from the Department of Housing has shown.

Compared the first six months of 2022, the rate of new home commencements was up 10 per cent this year.
