The hotel group took a battering during the pandemic, but its incoming chief executive is optimistic of better times ahead

As the incoming head of Ireland’s largest hotel group, Dermot Crowley is a busy man who is about to get busier. The Corkman is hopeful the same can be said of Dalata’s Maldron and Clayton hotels, as Covid-19 restrictions on hospitality and travel are further eased over the remainder of the year.
