Coca-Cola told Paschal Donohoe that it was reviewing its global operations at a meeting in which it raised concerns about the complexity of the global tax system and said potential changes to Ireland’s tax regime were of “key importance”.

John Murphy, the group’s global president, told Donohoe, the Finance Minister, that it was conducting the review in a bid to manage “global volatility” and added that taxation was “currently a strong focus” for Coca-Cola.
