Two ‘shared living’ accommodation developers have hit planning snags as they moved to capitalise on new rules which aimed to promote co-living schemes in Ireland.

Since housing minister Eoghan Murphy revised the minimum size requirement for apartment units in co-living residential schemes in 2017, there has been a spike in applications to build shared-living developments in Dublin.
