Co Down’s Copeland Distillery enters the American market

The drinks business will have a presence in seven American states, and hopes to send more than 40,000 bottles to up to 12 states by the end of the year

The Copeland Distillery in Donaghadee, Co Down, has entered the US market with the shipment of more than 15,000 bottles of its gin, rum and whiskey.

Copeland has partnered with Tradebright, a Co Waterford firm which works with companies looking to enter new markets, on the deal. Tradebright will import the drinks and help the brand secure new distributors and retail partners across North America.
