The committee adopted a motion tabled by Fianna Fáil members that abortion should be permitted without restriction up to 12 weeks of pregnancy

The Oireachtas Eighth Amendment committee yesterday voted through a series of proposals that will be contained in a report to be published next week on the future of the abortion ban in Ireland.
