The Chinese Embassy In Ireland has labelled claims that CCTV cameras in Leinster House are a national security risk as a “conspiracy theory”, following calls to have the cameras removed.

In a sarcastic tweet responding to an article published by the Business Post on security concerns about the concerns of politicians and a civil liberties group about the cameras, the Chinese Embassy offered a reward to anyone who could come up with a better “conspiracy”.
