The charities watchdog has appointed inspectors to carry out an investigation into GLEN, the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network.

The probe by the Charities Regulatory Authority will look into the administration, governance and financial management of the charity by its trustees, and will also examine whether charitable assets were used exclusively for charitable purposes.
