Central Bank beefs up staff in enforcement unit

The brain drain in the Central Bank’s enforcement division has eased, with the vacancy rate halving in the last number of months.

According to figures released by finance minister Michael Noonan last week, the vacancy rate now stands at 18 per cent. Earlier this year The Sunday Business Post revealed that only 30 out of 50 roles in the division were filled, equivalent to a 40 per cent gap in its staffing levels.
