Carey suing INM and state over privacy controversy
Move follows “rumour and innuendo surrounding a newspaper article”
Former minister Pat Carey has lodged a High Court action against Independent News and Media, the Garda Commissioner, and the state.
It follows what his lawyers described in a statement last year as “rumour and innuendo surrounding a newspaper article” entitled ‘Former minister investigated by gardaí over child abuse claims’.
