Abercrombie & Fitch has launched a High Court action against a Co Mayo clothes shop owner in relation to an alleged counterfeit goods claim.
The US fashion giant owns the southern California-inspired teen favourite Hollister label. Local businessman Muhammad Mujahid owns Holly Star, on Claremorris’s main street.
A consignment of stock due for Holly Star was seized by customs on foot of a warrant and his home and shop were searched.
