Busting the whiplash myth

We’ve been spun a yarn about personal injuries claims driving up the cost of motor insurance. It’s bogus and grossly unfair to accident victims who are entitled to seek redress.

The recently published first report of the Personal Injuries Commission (PIC) has made a number of recommendations which it maintains will result in lower motor insurance premium costs.

The report does not paint the real picture of the personal injury market in Ireland today, and will be of little comfort to advocacy groups fighting for fair treatment for people injured through no fault of their own in accidents.
